During the summer going into my freshman year of high-school, I had discovered 21 Savage through his album, "Savage Mode"(as seen to the left). He was one of the many artists that got me into listening to hip hop and rap music. I had never heard the energy, flow, and bars that 21 Savage had before. Today he still makes bangers such as "Immortal" and "Bank Account".
As I continued to listen to more hip hop, I found Post Malone. At first, he was considered a rapper, especially with his debut song "White Iverson". However, over time his sound changed, with rock and pop influences. Songs like "Take What You Want" featuring Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott have a whole new sound; and hip hop rock hybrid. Post Malone isn't like any other artist and cannot be confined in a single genre
Unlike many other rappers that I've heard, Juice WRLD had some of the most versatile flows ever. On the one hand, he had some sad, depressing music, like on his debut song "Lucid Dreams" and others like "Let Me Know". On the other hand, he could spit some of the meanest bars with light-speed flow, such as his feature on $ki Mask the Slump God's "Nuketown"and his own song "Syphilis". His freestyles were utterly insane with the way he rhymed so fast off the top of his head. It truly is a shame that he is no longer with us. RIP Juice WRLD.
